Gold Climbs to Rs457,136 Per Tola as Silver Prices Also Rise

KARACHI: Gold and silver prices continued to move higher in Pakistan’s local Sarafa markets on September 12, 2026, with the price of gold increasing by Rs400 per tola and silver gaining Rs53 per tola.

According to rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs400 per tola to Rs457,136.

The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs343, reaching Rs391,920.

Meanwhile, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams rose by Rs315, taking the rate to Rs359,273.

Silver Prices Also Rise

Silver prices also recorded an increase in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs53 per tola to Rs6,924, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs46 to Rs5,936.

International Market Rates

In the international market, the price of gold stood at $4,346 per ounce, up $4 from the previous rate.

The international price of silver also increased by $0.53 per ounce, reaching $64.45.
