KARACHI: Gold prices declined again in Pakistan’s local bullion markets, while silver prices recorded an increase.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,000 per tola to Rs462,136.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs857 to Rs396,207.
The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also dropped by Rs786, settling at Rs363,202 in the local market.
Meanwhile, silver prices increased in Pakistan. The price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs10 per tola to Rs7,069, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs9 to Rs6,060.
In the international market, gold prices also declined by $10 per ounce to $4,396. In contrast, international silver prices rose by 10 cents per ounce to $65.90.
