KARACHI: Fresh foreign exchange rates have been released in the domestic currency market, with the US dollar being quoted at Rs278.60 for selling in the open market, while its interbank selling rate stands at Rs277.80.
According to the rates issued at 11:20am on September 8, 2026, the British pound is being bought at Rs375.75 and sold at Rs378.70 in the open market, while the euro is being bought at Rs322.48 and sold at Rs325.46.
The Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs74.05 and sold at Rs74.70, while the UAE dirham is being bought at Rs75.75 and sold at Rs76.58 in the open market.
The Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs198.82 and sold at Rs204.81, while the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs199.05 and sold at Rs202.47.
The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs38.27 and sold at Rs38.99, while the Japanese yen is being bought at Rs1.7339 and sold at Rs1.8337.
Interbank Market Rates
In the interbank market, the euro is being bought by banks at Rs322.39 and sold at Rs322.97.
The British pound is being bought at Rs375.44 and sold at Rs376.12, while the Saudi riyal is being bought at Rs73.84 and sold at Rs73.98.
The UAE dirham is not included in the provided interbank rate list. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs41.33 and sold at Rs41.40.
