Six non-local labourers who were abducted in Balochistan’s Kech district have been killed by militants, according to security sources.
Security sources said the militants had earlier killed a non-local worker, identified as Javed, on July 27 before abducting six other labourers.
According to the sources, all six abducted workers were later killed. The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Arshad, Muhammad Taimoor, Muhammad Parvez, Muhammad Wazir, Muhammad Amjad, and Muhammad Yahya.
Security sources stated that four of the victims were from Punjab, while the remaining two belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The sources further said that five non-local labourers were also killed in a separate incident in Mashkail, Balochistan, a few days earlier. All of the victims were reportedly employed on development projects in the province.
The allegations and casualty details are based on information provided by security sources and have not been independently verified.
