Who is Mr Beast’s wife Thea Booysen?

YouTube megastar MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has married his fiancée, Thea Booysen, in a private ceremony on Richard Branson’s exclusive Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.

The 28-year-old creator, regarded as the biggest YouTuber in the world with more than 500 million subscribers, shared the news on Instagram with a series of wedding photos, captioning the post: “Found MrsBeast.”

Who is Thea Booysen?

Thea Booysen is also a celebrity in her own right. She is an accomplished content creator, as most people online know her as TheaBeasty.

Not only has she built a successful career as an esports commentator and gamer but also, while doing so, she perused an impressive academic path.

She graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in law and an honors degree in psychology before earning a master’s degree in human cognitive neuropsychology from the University of Edinburgh in November 2024.

Booysen is also a published author. Her debut young adult novel, The Marked Children, was released in 2022, though she began writing the book while she was still in high school.

The couple met each other accidentally in South Africa in 2022. Donaldson had gone to South Africa ahead of an Antarctica adventure but was forced to prolong his stay because of travel complications, which finally led to their meeting and subsequent romance.
