Air travel across Pakistan faced disruption over the past 24 hours as 83 of domestic and international flights were cancelled, while hundreds of others operated as scheduled.
The cancellations, driven by operational and load-related issues, affected major airports including Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, highlighting ongoing pressure on the country’s flight schedule and aviation operations.
According to the flight schedule, the highest number of operations was recorded from Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, where 123, 134, and 100 flights operated respectively.
From other cities, 23 flights operated from Multan, 16 from Peshawar, 20 from Sialkot, 4 from Faisalabad, and 10 from Quetta.
Meanwhile, several flights were also cancelled due to various operational and administrative reasons. From Karachi, 20 flights were cancelled, while 15 were cancelled from Lahore, 19 from Islamabad, and 11 from Multan.
Moreover, 5 flights each from Quetta and Faisalabad were cancelled, along with 4 from Peshawar, and 2 each from Sialkot and Gilgit.
The flight schedule further showed that over 20 flights to Jeddah were also cancelled due to reduced load, further affecting the overall air traffic schedule.
