Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi has approved bail of actor Muneeb Butt in kidnapping case on Friday.
Muneeb Butt had earlier sought protective bail from Islamabad High Court and surrendered before ATC in Karachi.
According to the plaintiff’s lawyer, the actor is accused of facilitating two of the accused.
Five accused, including a police constable, have been named in the case, including Hamza, Salam, Shahid and Wazir.
The case was registered at the Airport Police Station on the complaint of a youth named Motal who told police that he was leaving his home on April 22 to go to Lahore when a double-cabin vehicle stopped him and allegedly kidnapped him.
According to the victim, the kidnapper kept took him to different places and transferred $8,600 from his account.
