Saqib Chadhar Summoned as NCCIA Probes Momina Iqbal’s Complaint

PML-N lawmaker Saqib Chadhar has been summoned by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Lahore in connection with an online harassment complaint filed by actress Momina Iqbal, it emerged on Thursday. The agency has also called the actress as part of its preliminary investigation into the allegations.

According to reports, the complaint, submitted online from Karachi, contains allegations against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Provincial Assembly Saqib Chadhar. Following the complaint, NCCIA Lahore initiated preliminary proceedings.

Reports said both parties are expected to appear before the agency this afternoon, where the case will initially be reviewed on merit. Since the matter involves online harassment, digital evidence, social media records, and other relevant material will be thoroughly examined.

It is worth mentioning that actress Momina Iqbal alleged on social media two days ago that she had been facing prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, mental stress, and death threats from an influential political figure.
