OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has decided to hire thousands of new employees despite concerns that AI has led to job losses in other companies.

According to details, OpenAI plans to nearly double its workforce by the end of this year. The company, which currently employs around 4,500 people, aims to expand its staff to approximately 8,000.

The hiring drive is intended to maintain and strengthen the company’s position in the increasingly competitive global artificial intelligence market. Most recruitment will take place in product development, engineering, research and sales.
