Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has announced that matriculation examinations across the province will commence on 10 February 2026, warning that cheating or any form of malpractice will not be tolerated.
In a statement shared on social media, the Chief Minister said that the police, deputy commissioners and the education department would work jointly to ensure a transparent, secure and fair examination process.
He stressed that the provincial government is fully committed to bringing transparency to every sector of education and to making Balochistan free of corruption.
Strict monitoring arrangements will be in place during the examinations to ensure that students can sit their papers in a safe and impartial environment.
CM Bugti reiterated that the same zero-tolerance policy applies to the education sector, making it clear that no cheating or corruption would be acceptable.
The provincial government, he added, has assured full security and administrative support to ensure students can appear in exams without fear or pressure.
