A Pakistani bank has introduced a new scheme for iPhone 17 Pro Max users to pay PTA tax in easy instalments instead of paying it in one lump sum.

As per details, Alfa Mall, Bank Alfalah’s e-commerce platform, has introduced this facility for users, under which the PTA tax for iPhone 17 Pro Max can be paid in instalments of 3 to 36 months.

According to Alfa Mall, monthly instalment payments will start from Rs10,825, while short-term plans (3 or 6 months) are available without interest. Long-term instalments (9 to 36 months) will have a modest 2.5% markup.

According to the instalment details, if the payment period is 3 months, the interest rate is 0% and the monthly instalment is Rs75,966. The interest rate for a 6-month period is also 0%, while the monthly instalment will be Rs 37,983.

If a 9-month period is chosen, the interest rate will be 2.5% and the monthly instalment will be Rs29,767. The interest rate for 12-month instalments is also 2.5%, while the monthly payment will be Rs23,438.

Similarly, the interest rate remains 2.5% for a 24-month period, and the monthly instalment will be Rs13,964, while for 36 months, the interest rate is 2.5%, and the monthly instalment will be Rs10,825.

This facility will be especially helpful for those users who want to register imported iPhones under PTA but cannot afford to pay the hefty tax in one go.

To apply, users will have to visit the Alpha Mall website and enter the IMEI number of their iPhone, their name, and their national identity card number, and then select the “Buy Now, Pay Later” option and choose the desired payment plan.
