To promote the art of singing, Pakistan Idol is making a comeback after a long break. Season 2 will be aired on five major TV networks in the country.
According to details, Fawad Khan, Zeb Bangash, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Bilal Maqsood will appear as judges. These are new faces compared to Season 1 but are already well-known in the field of music. Fawad Khan is considered a seasoned name in acting but new in singing.

According to the Pakistan Idol management, aspiring singers can record their auditions via the Begin app and send them to the Pakistan Idol judges.

On the other hand, arrangements are also being made for in-person auditions not only in major cities but also in remote areas. The management states that, like the first season, this show will also span 14 weeks, featuring weekly performances and public voting.
Through voting, future singers will either get a chance to advance in the show or face elimination. The launch date and broadcast schedule of Pakistan Idol have not been announced so far, but it is expected to be revealed soon.
