Actress Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, while speaking about body type, self-confidence, and the pressures in the industry, said that fitness by no means implies being thin; she is happy with her real personality and natural build and has never thought of changing herself.
Dur-e-Fishan Saleem recently gave an interview to Something Haute, where she spoke about her weight.

The actress has a healthy body and, for this reason, is often subjected to criticism from fellow actors.
Speaking on this topic, the actress said that she would not claim that working in this industry with a heavier body was easy; rather, it was a difficult journey. But one thing she knew from day one was that she would never change herself.
Dur-e-Fishan Saleem said that she knows being fit does not mean being skinny, but simply staying healthy is enough. Her body structure is naturally heavy, and she will remain like that all her life, because she cannot bear the constant fluctuations in weight.
She said that most women in our country have a similar body structure, and she wanted people to connect with her through her characters—and that does happen.
Dur-e-Fishan Saleem shared that many women, influenced by her personality, often come to her and say: “You don’t look like an actress—you look just like us,” and that is her success: that people feel connected to her.
She said that dramas typically portray that love can happen with people of any color, race, or personality, so why is it assumed in the case of actors that the man must be tall and the woman must be thin?
