Government office timings announced for Ramadan

The government has changed the official office hours for the upcoming month of Ramadan, setting them from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous organizations, sources revealed on Thursday.

However, the government has yet to issue a formal notification in this regard. Ramadan is expected to commence on March 2nd, pending the sighting of the moon.

According to the sources, 15-minute break from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM for Zuhr prayers will also be given to the staff. However, banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, postal services, railways, hospitals, state-run mills and factories, and other emergency service providers will set their office hours according to their respective regulations and considering public interest.
