Rs306,200 per tola: Gold prices continue to climb in local & international markets

Gold prices have surged to record highs in both Pakistan and international markets. 

In Pakistan, the price of gold increased by Rs2,600 per tola, reaching an unprecedented Rs306,200—the highest in the country’s history, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association.

Similarly, the rate for 24-carat gold rose by Rs1886, bringing the price to Rs262517 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also climbed, rising by Rs83 to Rs3450 per tola.

On the global market, gold prices increased by $20 per ounce, reaching $2,933. Silver prices also saw an upward trend, gaining $0.89 per ounce to settle at $33.14.
