Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has criticized the current government, alleging that fabricated cases like the Al-Qadir Trust case were created to pressure him.
According to media reports, in a statement shared on PTI’s official Instagram account, Khan expressed concern over the state of accountability in Pakistan, claiming, “Those who have stolen billions are now in power simply because they made deals.”

Khan specifically targeted Nawaz Sharif’s family, questioning the source of wealth used in high-value transactions. He stated, “Nawaz Sharif’s son sold a Rs. 9 billion flat to Malik Riaz for Rs. 18 billion. The real question is, where did Nawaz Sharif’s son get Rs. 9 billion in the first place?”
He further criticized the lack of transparency, pointing out that despite the Panama Papers revelations, the Sharif family has yet to provide receipts for their wealth. Khan’s remarks underline his ongoing critique of political corruption and the perceived double standards in accountability.
