Following the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the notorious group has reportedly sent fresh death threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, demanding a large sum of money.
The feud between Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan dates back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, with Bishnoi targeting the actor ever since.
According to recent reports from Indian media, the gang has demanded Rs.5 crores from Salman to settle their long-standing enmity. The threat was sent via WhatsApp to the Mumbai Traffic Police, warning, “Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and resolve the issue with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs. 5 crore. If not, his fate will be worse than Baba Siddique’s.”
Following the message, Mumbai Police have increased security around Salman’s Bandra residence and are actively working to trace the sender.
This is not the first threat Salman has received from the Bishnoi gang. In January 2024, two individuals attempted to enter his Panvel farmhouse using false identities. Prior to that, in 2022, a death threat letter was found near his home, and in March 2023, threats were sent via email.
