Netflix’s ‘Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver’ has emerged to become a hit movie.
The most-watched title of the week overall was “Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver,” the follow-up to Zack Snyder’s 2023 film “Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire.”
The movie hit 21.4 million views in its first three days of availability, putting it slightly behind “Part One,” which reached 23.9 million views in the same amount of time.
The release of “Part Two” also gave a boost to “Part One,” which returned as the No. 5 English-language film with 5.5 million views.
Moreover, the notable on the film chart was “Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp” and “What Jennifer Did,” which hit 18.8 million and 16.3 million views in their first full weeks of availability.
Rebel Moon: Part 1
The star-trotting epic Rebel Moon is about Kora (Sofia Boutella), a lone-wolf soldier who’s found community and connection on the quiet farming moon of Veldt. She’s a long way away from her former life fighting for the Imperium, the brutal interstellar royal empire bent on controlling the galaxy. But Kora’s violent past is dredged up when sadistic admiral Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein) comes to Veldt via a Dreadnought-class battle cruiser and stirs up deadly trouble on the orders of the Imperium’s tyrannical regent, Balisarius (Fra Fee).

A colony on the edge of the galaxy fights for survival against a tyrannical ruling force, relying on the efforts of a small group of rebels.
