The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership will meet Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday.
A delegation led by Barrister Gohar will meet Rehman tonight.
The PTI delegation will include Asad Qaiser, Barrister Saif, and Akhund Zada Hussain Ahmed.
Rehman announced on Wednesday that his party will sit in the opposition.
Addressing the press conference in Islamabad, Rehman said: “The JUI-F Central Executive Committee (CEC), which lasted two days, had denounced the poll results.”.
Ruling out the possibility of an alliance with the political parties, Rehman said: “We are not going to have any alliance with any party.”
He vowed that his party would continue to play its role in parliament. Rehman had also invited PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to join hands with him in opposition.
“We are not subordinate to the PML-N and PPP,” he said.
