KARACHI: Pakistan cricket team has reached the first position in the ICC ODI ranking for the first time.
Prior to the start of the five-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand, Pakistan’s ranking was fifth.

Official ICC ODI Rankings started in January 2005, Pakistan currently leads Australia and India by decimal points, if Pakistan wins even the fifth match, its lead will be clear.
After the victory in the fourth one-day match against New Zealand, Pakistan’s total rating points have become 113.483, Australia’s rating points are 113.286, and India’s rating points are 112.638.
On the other hand, Chairman PCB Najam Sethi congratulated the national team for securing the first position in the ICC rankings.
