Nikkei Asia reported that one company, Kura Sushi, announced it will employ artificial intelligence to search for “suspicious opening and closing of sushi plate coverings.” By the beginning of March, the business intends to upgrade the cameras that currently monitor the dishes that patrons take from conveyor belts in order to calculate their cost. The system will notify staff members of any suspicious conduct.
