ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Monday extended the interim bail of PTI Chairman Imran Khan till Dec 9 in a case pertaining to staging demonstration and interference in the state affairs.

During the court’s proceedings today, Babar Awan submitted the medical report of his client Imran Khan to the court. The case was heard by ATC Judge Jawad Abbas Hassan.

Babar Awan requested to exempt injured Imran from appearing before the court today as he was currently in Lahore. To this, the ATC judge remarked if the PTI chief could attend a rally in Rawalpindi, why he couldn’t come to appear before the court (in Islamabad).

After hearing the arguments, the court extended the interim bail of Imran till Dec 9 and adjourned the hearing of the case till that date.
