His remarks came following Nov 26 announcement by PTI Chairman Imran Khan that his party would no more remain part of the current system, and would quit from all provincial assemblies.
Prompted by Imran Khan’s announcement, political analysts quickly moved to decipher the same, as some translating it into the dissolution of KP and Punjab assemblies, and en masse resignations from Sindh and Balochistan.
Taking to Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry said a meeting of senior leadership of the party was convened today in which dates regarding dissolution of KP and Punjab Assemblies, and resignation en masse from Sindh and Balochistan assemblies would be finalized.
Fawad Chaudhry said the decision (of quitting all provincial assemblies) would result in vacating 64% of seats, and would eventually pave way for holding general elections.
