ISLAMABAD: A total of 1,292,406 people have been infected with coronavirus across the country while 28,894 people have succumbed to the virus. The condition of 666 patients is critical.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 359 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours, while two more people infected with the virus have lost their lives.
During the last 24 hours, 46,564 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 23 million 798. Across the country, coronavirus test results were positive at 0.77 percent.
During the last 24 hours, 510 people defeated coronavirus across the country, bringing the total number of recovering people to 1,254,104. Mortality remains at 2.2 percent.

The highest number of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh while deaths were reported in Punjab. In Punjab, 444,380 people fell victim to the virus while 13,061 people died. In Sindh, 479,890 cases of coronavirus and 7,658 deaths were reported.
In different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 181,088 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,916 died. In Balochistan, 33,614 cases of the virus were reported and 363 people lost their lives.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,651 people were infected with coronavirus and 746 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,429 cases and 186 deaths were reported.
