The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has reached a major milestone by securing the 127th spot in the Engineering and Technology category of the QS Subject Rankings 2025.
This achievement represents an impressive 17-place improvement from the previous year, solidifying NUST’s standing as a leading institution in higher education and research, supported by a robust foundation in innovation and development.
Notably, for the first time in its history, NUST has placed among the top 200 universities worldwide in four distinct fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
The university has also made advancements in 11 subject areas while maintaining its position in five others.

In other academic domains, NUST has shown remarkable progress. It climbed 72 positions in Natural Sciences, achieving a global ranking of 322, and advanced 39 spots in Social Sciences and Management, reaching 361.
These accomplishments highlight the university’s dedication to impactful education and research.
