FAISALABAD: Incidents of rape in Punjab are increasing day by day as a neighbor in Punjab city raped a 12-year-old daughter of a disabled father at gunpoint.
The incident took place in the Rurala area where the accused named Ramzan raped a 12-year-old girl in a house in his neighborhood and later fled the scene. Police arrested the accused and said that the victim’s father was disabled while the girl was alone in the house at the time of the incident.
After getting medical treatment for the girl, the police registered a case against the accused and arrested her. It is to be noted that Punjab has witnessed a horrific increase in the incidents of sexual abuse of women and innocent girls. In Model Colony, a 65-year-old priest raped a 7-year-old girl and the accused escaped.
Shehzad Masih, a resident of Lahore Model Colony, Walton Road, told police that on August 14, 2021, he had gone to his hometown of Okara for some urgent work while his wife and children were at home.

“I have two daughters who go to church every evening for tuition,” he said. The father said that my wife witnessed her youngest daughter and pastor Barkat Masih without clothes while he accused his wife and immediately grabbed his clothes and fled the scene.
The plaintiff in the FIR claimed that his daughter Nina told me that Pastor Barkat Masih lied and called her into the house and tried to rape her. The father said that accused has misused his daughter.
