The tortured body of a 6-year-old boy was found in Karachi’s Napier area with authorities saying the victim was sexually assaulted before murdered.
According to the police, the boy was raped and murdered. The accused, who is the boy’s neighbor, has been arrested.
The young boy was reportedly abducted from outside the house on Monday evening.
Police said that the boy’s body, wrapped in a sack, has been taken into custody and shifted to the Civil Hospital for postmortem. The final cause of death will be determined after the postmortem report comes.
The boy’s mother said that the boy’s mutilated body was wrapped in a sack and thrown from a 3-storey building.
The family said that they had been looking for the boy for two days. The incident took place in a neighbor’s house. The accused did not allow us to enter the house. The accused also pretended to find the boy with us.
The father said that he was a rickshaw driver, had four daughters and a son, and the deceased was the youngest of 5 siblings.
The family has demanded that higher authorities take notice of the incident, while local residents claim that they caught the accused Hamza with their help and handed him over to the police.
