A bus heading from Kot Addu to Rawalpindi overturned near Layyah in Punjab province, killing six people, including two women.
According to details, the tragic accident took place at Jamun Shah near Layyah. As a result of the accident, 6 people were killed including 2 women while 21 people were injured. As soon as the accident was reported, rescue and police personnel rushed to the spot. Rescue sources said that the injured have been shifted to DHQ Hospital Layyah.
Earlier, a bus heading to Fort Abbas from Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, overturned, killing five people. The accident took place near Okara Bypass 8 days ago today. The dead and injured were shifted to a hospital.
Earlier, a speeding vehicle overturned near the Super Highway, injuring 12 people. The accident took place on July 19 due to high speed and slippery roads created by rain, while intermittent rain and drizzle had been falling in Karachi for the past few days.
