2 TTP (Gandapur) terrorists killed in Dera Ismail Khan IBO
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two terrorists of banned outfit TTP (Gandapur Group) were killed during an intelligence based operation in area police station Dera Town near CRBC Canal near Bhagwani.
According to reports gathered from unofficial sources, a team of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) was conducted operation when it was ambushed by terrorists.
The CTD team returned fire effectively, killing two terrorists on the spot. The terrorists were later indentified as Akhtar Munir alias Waleed alias Qari, son of Razi Khan, and Abdul Aziz, alias Talha, son of Bahadur Khan.
CTD sources said the terrorists killed in the fight were wanted in several terror related incidents, and 2 Kalashnikovs, 04 hand grenades,06 spare magazines were recovered from their possession.
A heavy contingent of the Anti-Terrorism Department and the local police reached the spot and conducted a search and clearance in the area to arrest the escape.
