ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for climate change, Zartaj Gul slammed opposition parties and questioned their ideology.
According to sources, the minister criticized opposition for accusing government that it is makings state’s prominent institution controversial.
Sources quoted Gul’s further statement that “We are proud that we are judiciary’s spokespersons, we are proud that the army is our spokesperson. We have not burdened the country with Rs31,000 billion loan, we have not enslaved the masses and haven’t filled out coffers…. this is why the people are with us, the army is also with us.”
“This Nawaz Sharif and you would know who make judges and the army controversial and come here to lecture us”, sources said.
“Fazlur Rehman made the army controversial yesterday and the army had to come and say who you are talking about”, added the minister.
Earlier in a tweet, the federal minister for communications, Murad Saeed said that incumbent Prime Minister Imran Khan is making significant efforts to regain the positive image of Pakistan and nation trusts him.
The minister maintained that Imran Khan is working hard to restore the image of the country. On the other hand, the mafia is making efforts to safeguard corruption.
The tweet came after JUI-F Chief Mualana Fazalur Rehman demanded resignation of incumbent premier Imran Khan stating the PTI government has denounced as a threat to democracy.
