Actor Yasir Hussain, who recently slammed social media users for mocking Mahira Khan over not wearing a ‘dupatta’, has expressed disappointment for not remembering the great legends of Pakistan.
He shared a post of Bollywood versatile playback singer Hariharan A. who in his post on Facebook had remembered Mehdi Hasan Khan, a known Pakistani ghazal singer on his death anniversary.
“To one of the most incredible men I have come across in my life. I just wanted to say that the past 9 years have not been easy without you but we have still managed to celebrate your life, just like you would have wanted us to, in the beautiful memories you left behind with us!” Hariharan A. posted on Facebook.
Yasir shared an Indian singer’s post and showed disappointment that even singers across the border remember the Pakistani legend but our singers did not remember him.
Yasir in his Instagram story, the Jhooti actor sarcastically wrote that our ‘grat’ singer has once again forgotten (Mehdi Hasan) as Pakistani singers once again never remembered the great legend when he was alive.
With numerous awards and accolades on her credit, the “Shahenshah-e-Ghazal” died on 13th June 2012. He was laid to rest in Karachi’s Mohammad Shah graveyard in Nazimabad Town.
