Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Turbo 3 to the Chinese market, marking the debut of a new series focused on performance-oriented smartphones.
At the heart of the Redmi Turbo 3 lies the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm’s latest release tailored for performance-centric smartphones. While not as swift as the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, it surpasses mid-range SoCs in power and capability.
However, the allure of the Redmi Turbo 3 extends beyond its chipset. The device boasts a comprehensive feature set, including a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. On the camera front, users can expect a 20 MP front-facing sensor and a rear setup comprising a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor paired with an 8 MP IMX355 ultrawide angle lens.
Furthermore, the Redmi Turbo 3 offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. Additional highlights include a sizable 5,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a robust speaker setup.
The device runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, based on Android 14. Open sales are scheduled to commence in China on April 15, with expectations for global release under the POCO F6 moniker.
