Taylor Swift’s record-breaking tour film has been officially released in theaters, which tallied $2.8 million untill Thursday.
Expectations are that Swift could tally between $40 million and $60 million this weekend, but will fans be able to watch from home, too?
There has been no official word yet on if, when, or where Swift’s concert film will be available to stream. Although Swift partnered with Netflix to release her Miss Americana documentary in 2020, it’s unlikely the same will go for The Eras Tour, considering that AMC and Cinemark theaters are distributing the film exclusively.

Instead, fans may just have to wait to rent or purchase the movie on digital video platforms like Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV, or Vudu.
If the film does head to a streaming service, it probably won’t be released until after January 12, 2024, since the movie is set to play exclusively in theaters for at least 13 weeks, according to Swift’s deal with AMC.
This 13-week run is much longer than most Hollywood films play in theaters today; they usually see a monthlong stint on big screens before being pushed to a digital platform.
Until it is streamable, you can buy tickets for The Eras Tour near you local cinemas.
