Two days ago, the nation was shocked with the news of Junaid Safdar parting ways with now ex-wife Ayesha Saif who tied the knot in August 2021.
Now, Ayesha Saif has reportedly blamed her former mother-in-law Maryam Nawaz for ruining the ‘privacy’ of their married life. Ayesha Saif in an alleged Instagram post said that she wanted to clarify some points regarding her divorce.
She said that The Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran that He has created husband and wife so that they could live with each other peacefully.
“And although wealth and other facilities play an important part in today’s life, still that peace (Sukoon) that is associated with marriage was missing in my life,” she said and added that the ‘sukoon’ (peace) she was looking for was never thereafter she tied the knot with Junaid.

She went on to say that she was happy that now she has got a divorce. “Now I want to start my life afresh,” Ayesha added. She requested people not to intrude into her private life by discussing her divorce on social media. “Unfortunately, my former mother-in-law did not pay heed to this basic human need. PEACE,” she concluded her post by saying this.
The couple got married on August 22, 2021, in London, and later in December, they hosted a huge reception in Pakistan. Ayesha Saif Khan is the daughter of Saifur Rehman, former chairman of the Ehtesaab Bureau during Nawaz Sharif’s second tenure as the prime minister.
