Slaying in a mustard saree last night, actress Sonya Hussyn recently won the first-ever award at PISA 2021 for the drama serial ‘Saraab’.
While receiving the award for the best actress, the Ishq Zahe Naseeb actress broke down into tears and had an emotional meltdown on stage.

During her award-winning speech, Sonya said, “Seven years of my acting career and 16 nominations, Today I am finally getting my 1st award. I can’t believe it because if you work on any social issue in Pakistan such things are not recognized.”

Sonya dedicated her award to the production, direction, cast, and crew of her drama her mother, and all the schizophrenic patients. Actress Faryal Mehmood was also on stage to present her the best actress award who showed a heartwarming gesture while consoling Sonya Hussyn on stage.
Hussyn was one of the actresses who wore a saree in the PISA awards held last night in Dubai. Apart from her, Iqra Aziz, Hania Aamir and Sana Umair.
