Pakistani actress Nausheen Shah recently appeared on Nadia Khan’s Ramadan show, where she opened up about a distressing experience involving filmmaker Nabeel Ur Rehman Lutfi. Shah revealed that Lutfi had deceived her of 3.5 million rupees before disappearing without a trace.
During a candid conversation with the host about deception, Shah recounted the incident where she fell victim to Lutfi’s deceit. She had trusted him, considering him a friend, and had given him 2 million rupees for a crypto investment based on his persuasion.
Moreover, she handed over 1.5 million rupees for his film project, all without any formal agreement. However, Lutfi vanished, leaving Shah with no recourse.
Shah cautioned others against engaging in financial transactions with Lutfi without proper documentation, admitting her own oversight in not doing so.
Further investigations revealed that Lutfi and his wife had duped several other celebrities, accumulating approximately 60 million rupees before disappearing. They are currently evading authorities with their phones switched off, and FIRs have been filed against them.
