A female defendant who goes by the name “Ketamine Queen” has consented to plead guilty to federal narcotics charges related to the death of Matthew Perry, an actor from Friends.
Jasveen Sangha, 42, who is a dual US and UK citizen, will plead guilty in Los Angeles to five offenses, including distributing ketamine that caused death or serious injury, the Department of Justice said. She was initially charged with nine counts.

Federal authorities had previously referred to Sangha’s Los Angeles home as a “drug-selling emporium,” where dozens of vials of ketamine were seized in a raid. A subsequent medical exam later revealed that the cause of Perry’s October 2023 death at his Los Angeles home was due to the acute effects of ketamine. The actor was found unconscious in his jacuzzi in the backyard.
