LAHORE: Governor Punjab Baleegh ur Rahman has summoned key session of Punjab Assembly on December 21, tomorrow, in the wake of no trust move tabled against Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
This came just a day after Baleegh ur Rahman issued a charge-sheet type letter, directing Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to seek a vote of confidence from Punjab Assembly.

Interestingly, the move by PMLN-led opposition backed by federal government came in what has been observed as massive U-turn in their previous stance, daring Imran Khan to dissolve KP and Punjab Assemblies.
Since the announcement by PTI on November 26 about dissolution of assemblies, the PMLN-led political set up has not only stepped up its efforts to save both provincial governments but seems to have decided to exhaust every possible action to avert the same.
