ISLAMABAD: A man from Khairpur, Sindh, whose image holding his MBA degree on a roadside went viral, met with Federal Information Minister Ata Tarar in Islamabad on Wednesday. The meeting marked a sharp turn in the life of Azhar Memon, who was found sitting on a street in Khairpur just days earlier.
Memon, a Karachi University MBA graduate, gained nationwide attention after a video of him speaking fluent English about his hardships circulated widely on social media. The video showed him seated on a curb holding both his MBA certificate and a handwritten placard that read: “MBA PASS IN MBA UNIVERSITY KARACHI”.
The footage struck a chord with thousands online, highlighting the disconnect between education and employment opportunities in parts of the country.

I invited him to Islamabad for a meeting, encouraged him, and assured him of arranging employment.”
