ISLAMABAD: The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has increased the prices of various products, including essential commodities.
According to details, the Utility Stores Corporation has imposed new prices across the country from today. The prices of various brands of ghee, cooking oil, pickles, and tea have gone up.
Each packet of 950 grams of tea leaves has become expensive by Rs 40 at utility stores across the country. The price of a liter bottle of Harpic has been increased by Rs 49, a packet of matches by Rs 10, branded detergent powder by Rs 50, and olive oil by Rs 51 per liter.

A packet of ghee became expensive by Rs 31 per kg. Cooking oil price increased by Rs 34 per liter, cold drink by Rs 2 per liter, and toilet soup by Rs 3 per liter. It should be noted that the previous 100% increase in the prices of life-saving drugs has further aggravated the plight of patients and their families.
