Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela made headlines in 2024 when a bathroom scene from her movie “Ghuspaithiya” went viral on social media. The clip quickly drew severe backlash, with netizens flooding it with negative comments. Unable to cope with the trolling, Urvashi eventually deleted the video.
In a surprising revelation, Urvashi claimed the video’s release was intentional and done with her consent.
During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress shared that the makers of Ghuspaithiya approached her with a heartfelt plea, revealing their struggles with the film’s shortcomings and financial troubles.
According to Urvashi, the filmmakers were in dire debt and even faced the possibility of selling their land to recover financially. She said that they begged her to allow the scene’s release in an effort to draw attention to the movie.
Urvashi further explained that the makers specifically wanted the bathroom scene to go viral, aiming to raise awareness and caution women about such issues. She defended the decision, emphasizing the challenging circumstances the filmmakers faced.
This was not the first time Urvashi found herself at the center of a controversy involving a bathroom scene. Back in 2018, a similar clip from the song in Hate Story 4 went viral, sparking harsh trolling.
