The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast continued cold weather for Karachi over the next 24 hours, with the humidity in the air surpassing 80% in the country’s largest city.
According to the meteorological department, Karachi is expected to experience cold and dry weather for the next day. The minimum temperature recorded today was 13.5°C, and the temperature is expected to remain between 12°C and 14°C.
Currently, the humidity level is at 84%. The department reports that winds are blowing from the northeast at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour. The cold weather is expected to continue for the next few days.
Regarding the overall weather situation in the country, the meteorological department stated that on Tuesday, the majority of the country experienced cold and dry weather. However, rain and snowfall occurred in the upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and southwestern Balochistan.
Today, Wednesday, most of the country will continue to experience cold and dry conditions. Rain and snowfall are expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northwestern Balochistan, while dense fog is likely to persist in most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh during the morning and night hours.
