Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a decline on Thursday, following a drop in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs750, settling at Rs286,700.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs641, bringing it to Rs245,799, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This decline comes after a significant increase on Wednesday, when the gold price per tola rose by Rs4,250, closing at Rs287,450.
On the international front, gold prices also experienced a decrease on Thursday. According to the APGJSA, the international rate was $2,743 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a decline of $8.
In addition, silver prices also saw a reduction, with the price per tola decreasing by Rs30 to settle at Rs3,401.
