QUETTA: Two people were and 16 others suffered injuries on Tuesday as a speeding passenger coach crashed near Quetta.
According to the rescue officials, the coach was travelling to Mastung from Karachi, when it overturned near Khadkocha, Mastung.
As a result, two people were proclaimed dead and 16 others sustained injuries. The bodies and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital by the rescue teams.
In another accident last month, two people were killed and three others sustained injuries in a road accident in the Lamji area of Kachhi district near Sibi.
Police said a car going from Jacobabad to Quetta overturned after one of its tyres burst in the Lamji area, killing two people on the spot.
After receiving information about the accident, a rescue team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby health facility. The deceased were identified as Ali and Mohammad Yousuf and the injured as Kaleemullah, Rashid Ali and Zakir Ali injured.
