Singer Taylor Swift has broken another record by claiming all the top 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with the release of her most recent album ‘Midnights’.
The 32-year-old singer, who already became Spotify’s most-streamed artist over a 24-hour period upon the release of the record earlier this month, is leading all top ten slots of the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, according to the music charting website.

Swift is the first artist to ever accomplish the feat in Billboard’s 64-year history. She beat Drake, who in September 2021 claimed nine of the Hot 100’s top 10 spots for a week.
At the top of the list this week is ‘Anti-Hero’, the lead single off of ‘Midnights’, which is Swift’s tenth studio album. The other nine slots are also claimed by songs from the new album, including the tracks ‘Lavender Haze’ and ‘Karma’.
No artist has achieved such a feat since Taylor herself dropped her score-settling album Reputation five years ago, according to Billboard.
In total, there have been 24 instances – by 22 different albums – where an album sold at least 1 million copies in a week. One of those albums, Adele’s 25, sold over 1 million in three separate weeks.
It was earlier reported (October 22) that Midnights has logged the single-largest sales week for a vinyl album in the modern era (since Luminate began tracking music sales in 1991), and is the top-selling album of 2022.
It is also the year’s best-selling vinyl album, surpassing the 372,000 copies Harry Styles’ Harry’s House has sold through the week ending October 20.
