MUZAFFARABAD: The total number of coronavirus cases in Azad Kashmir has jumped to 33 after five new cases were reported in the AJK.
AJK Health Minister Dr. Najeeb Naqi confirmed the cases by saying that one case was reported in Abbaspur and four others were detected in Palandari.
Moreover, the total number of coronavirus cases in Sindh has crossed 1000 after 50 new cases were reported on Wednesday. The total number of the tests conducted was 1,0981 out of which 1,036 turned out to be positive.
The patients who have recovered from COVID-19 stands at 280. According to the National Command and Control Centre’s latest statistics, the confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 4,322. As many as 248 new cases of the COVID-19 were reported across the country during the last 24 hours.
The worldwide number of officially confirmed fatalities from the novel coronavirus now stands at above 88,505. More than 1.5 million declared cases have been registered in 213 countries since the epidemic that first emerged in China in December 2019. Of these cases, at least 330,589 are now considered recovered.
