The Punjabi romantic comedy-drama Ikk Kudi is gearing up for its theatrical release this month. Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and led by Shehnaaz Gill, the film follows the story of a young woman who begins questioning her arranged marriage after uncovering painful chapters of her family’s past.
Produced under Shehnaaz Gill Productions, the film features a strong supporting cast, including Gurjazz, Udaybir Sandhu, and Nirmal Rishi.
Cinepax Cinemas recently shared the official poster of Ikk Kudi on its Facebook page, though the exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
The official trailer, now streaming on YouTube, has received encouraging early feedback for its emotional storytelling, melodious music, and Gill’s heartfelt performance.
Test-screening viewers have described the film as a “family entertainer” that blends romance, humour, and meaningful themes such as trust and investigation within marriage relationships.
Ikk Kudi is expected to draw significant attention from Punjabi cinema audiences when it hits theatres later this month.
