Sindh may experience a dry August as no monsoon system is expected: MET Office

There is currently no forecast for rainfall in Sindh during the current month.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, most parts of Sindh are expected to experience hot and humid weather today, while light drizzle is likely at isolated locations along the coastal areas and in Tharparkar district.

The Met Department said that Karachi is likely to remain mostly cloudy and humid over the next three days, with chances of light drizzle at isolated locations during the morning and nighttime hours.

The maximum temperature in Karachi today is expected to remain between 32°C and 34°C.

Regarding the rainfall outlook, the Met Department said that August could pass largely dry in Sindh, as no monsoon system currently appears likely to affect the province during the month.
