Shaan expresses grief over current state of PIA
LAHORE: Actor, Shaan Shahid has expressed sorrow over the current state of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
He took to Twitter and wrote that his heart bleeds to see the present state of the national flag carrier, PIA.

“#PIA our flag carrier Flag of Pakistan symbol of our identity our freedom Flag of Pakistan my heart bleeds to see the current state of PIA ..patriotism is not wearing Lapel pins close to our Heart. True patriotism is when we act upon, to protect the respect, trust & honour of all that represents. Pakistan,” he tweeted.
Patriotism is not wearing lapel pins close to our hearts but true patriotism is when we act upon to protect, respect, trust, and honor all of that represent Pakistan, he wrote.

The services of PIA are under question ever since its plane crashed last month killing 97 people on board. A provisional report claimed that as many as 150 out of a total 400 flag carrier pilots held fake flying licenses.
Since 1965, PIA has suffered 10 major crashes and several minor incidents. Inquiries have been held but they do not seem to have led to any improvements.
