KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Education Saeed Ghani has said that the school holidays would not be further extended after 13th March.
Speaking at an interview, Saeed Ghani said told that Sindh announced the closure of educational institutions in the province to prevent the spreading of coronavirus.
Along with Sindh, Balochistan, have also announced to close all the public and private educational institutes till 15th March, the minister said.
The minister further said that the diagnosis of the virus required monitoring of a suspected case for two weeks.
Around 14,000 people have returned to Pakistan from Iran including a large number of pilgrims from Sindh.
In this regard, the country had sealed its border with the neighboring country Iran and on Sunday, its Chaman border crossing with Afghanistan.
Earlier last month, Saeed said that the education of the Malir district would be resolved soon, adding that that the Sindh government was working to provide better and quality education to the entire province including Malir.
He said that all facilities, including the shortage of the teachers and accommodation issues, would be provided in the government educational institutions in Malir district.
